- Anti-corruption messaging is a winner, and it is something that can be a differentiator that doesn't throw vulnerable people under the bus.

- Also, any gains in “efficiency” will be out paced by increasing demands on whatever workforce is left. I mean, look at email as an example.
- Let's unpack the dogshit that Jake Tapper & Alex Thompson unpacked. First, nowhere in their first BIG SCOOP do they consider that one of America's most consequential presidents used a wheelchair -- and hid that fact -- for 12 years of the presidency. Then remember this book sells MENTAL decline.

- Cue multiple op-eds and editorials in our leading newspapers questioning the President's age and fitness for off-.... oh. Wait.
- Overheard a disheartening convo in Santa Monica yesterday between two 60 yr old (white women) who were former LA party girls. Recited every Fox News trope and admired him for his “energy.” Hard to keep quiet so I kept petting the random dog that sat next to me. Santa Monica FFS!
- Some good news. @repjasmine.bsky.social - one of the most dynamic, media savvy House Dems fighting vs the Trump regime is going to run to be the Ranking Member (Leader) of House Oversight Comm after all. Her opponent Kweisi Mfume is 76. Hope Dems don’t make the Gerry Connolly mistake again.
- YES! Great communicator. Speaks the language of voters. Ds better not eff this up. Hope they meet the moment.

- OK, this is wild. In September 2023, geophysicists across the world started monitoring a very odd signal coming from the ground under them. It was picked up in the Arctic. And Antarctica. It was detected everywhere, every 90 seconds, as regular as a metronome, for *nine days*. What the HELL? 1/

- Good job, Senate.
- The NYT and SCOTUS both believe it isn’t “corruption” unless an official is caught accepting a giant bag of cash with literal dollar signs on it *and* saying in front of witnesses “in exchange for this illegal offer of money I will do ____”

- This is nuts. Austin and Minneapolis have working models. California even sent a delegation to Vienna. Sensible housing policies are out there. The world’s 4th largest should be able to figure it out. Embarrassed to be a Californian rt now. This is eugenics.
- *4th largest economy
- TODAY the NYT publishes an investigation into the Trump memecoin $TRUMP and how it has turned into a extraordinary venue for foreign influence campaigns. What we are seeing is potentially corrupt attempts to change US policy by paying the Trump family money. This is no "Russian Hoax" nyti.ms/4kkv7D7

It is not corrupt to take an action that aligns with the interest of a person who gives you a gift, unless the official action was in direct response to that gift--a bribe. Terms matter. Accuracy and fairness matters. Regardless of what social media wants.
