- The open fighting between India and Pakistan looks as bad as it's been in a long long time. India claiming to have hit nine targets inside Pakistan, Pakistan claiming to have downed two jets and hit an airbase. Every possibility things get worse from here.

View full threadI’m in my mid-50’s. When I was growing up this was always where I was afraid a nuclear war would start. I knew a bit of the history between the countries. But other than that I couldn’t tell you why I thought that.
- Dude all of GenX thought we would die before 30, with nuclear war being the most probable. After that, in order: drunk drivers, drug overdose (even if you abstained), lava, quicksand.
