- With the tariff exemptions, it looks like the US has already given up bringing back manufacturing of iPhones and Macs. At least there’s still the hope we can bring home the manufacturing of MAGA hats and fast fashion hauls from SHEIN.
- I don’t think we have the skilled labor for clothing manufacturing at scale. Yes we have amazing custom tailors, but not many people who can run a 10-head Tajima embroidery machine or sew a t-shirt in 3 to five minutes.Apr 12, 2025 22:00
