- There's really not enough of a sample size yet to say that about Barrett. On the Roe decision, she was the expected christofascist idealogue. On some others, she's split the difference, concurring in part, dissenting in part. Her fringe religious cultiness past will dictate most of her decisions.
- RFK Jr starts having a tantrum as Chris Murphy details how he lied during his confirmation hearing about his anti-vax views
- RFK Jr. Is an absolute f"cking lunatic. He's insane. Also, it's clear from both his testimony and that of Kash Patel in different hearings, that none of these people are in charge of what "DOGE" is cutting from their respective budgets. They're just figureheads for TV appearances.

- Accepting a private jumbo-jet from a foreign nation is a clear violation of our Constitution, which plainly prohibits U.S. officials from accepting gifts from foreign governments.

- Before this is over, I think Americans are going to have to make some very difficult decisions about how far we're willing to and how much we're all -- each of us -- willing to risk to fight fascism in this country.

- Donald Trump: "We used to make chips. We had Intel." Uh. Intel still makes chips.

- The two triceratops kills shown on the middle aircraft always just killed me. 😂
- I had to renew my passport. And after reading about all chaos being caused by Elon's Doge kids, I was expecting the worst. The application was instantaneous. They said it would take 4-6 weeks to get it. I got it today--less than 3 weeks. Apparently, the deep state still knows what it is doing.
- Are they back to the all-online application system they were testing last year? It worked great for me.
- Your School House Rock moment......
- Also, sending people to a country they're not actually from isn't deportation... it's human trafficking. Trump is doing that.

- You're wrong on Trump's weight. One of the arguments MAGA puts forth is that he's a picture of fit virility, rather than an obese f"ck. It's a valid attack vector. Partly disagree on RFK, Jr., too. The brain worm, at the very least, is fair game. He himself said it "clearly" degraded his mind.
- Ask yourself: If the President so easily falls for photoshopped pictures he sees on Truth Social, what other complete falsehoods is he relying on when he makes decisions? How else is he being manipulated? That wasn’t funny. It was scary.
- Nothing new. Trump has always demonstrated exactly that level of gullibility. Hundreds of examples.
- Many of the people I know, good people utterly appalled by this war on our democracy, are just burying their heads in the sand, refusing to even read the news, because everything is so upsetting. I understand the impulse, but now is the time to fight. They’re counting on our apathy.
- If need be, one can ignore the Jews entirely while still going to @indivisible.org's website and searching for a local grassroots political activity group. Let the group direct your efforts.
- The "mean" in "Greenwich Mean Time" actually means "mean" (like, average). I did not know this! To calculate GMT they took the position of the sun throughout the year and averaged it out to find the average solar noon in Greenwich and based the time on that!

- They spent the last four years telling us people who invaded the capital and beat police officers with flagpoles were unjustly persecuted civil rights heroes and now it’s taken about 45 minutes for them to be like “yeah if you write an op-ed you’re going to the blacksite that’s just common sense”
- Yep. Also, for the 1000th time, they invaded The Capitol, which is the building where Congress meets, and not the entire capital, which is the city of Washington, DC.
