- Actually, it's not all that uncommon. Most times they just slam the throttle back up and go around for another try. Letting one just roll off the deck in a hard turn is not common.
- Actually... This last jet was a pilot error. Their tail hook missed all the landing arrest cables and he couldn't recover before he ran out of deck and had to eject.
