- I really feel like more people need to constructively engage with this! You can think the moderation/centrism discourse is often braindead (as I do!) but the center left really needs a pretty robust convo about what winning, say, an Iowa or Kansas or Texas or Ohio senate seat would look like.
- When Obama ran on an all of the above energy strategy, he won PA and OH. Dems even had a Senator from Alaska. Accept that Senators from those states will not jeopardize energy jobs.
- Roger Stone is calling for the execution of a US Senator (my Senator), & Pam Bondi is okay with that? WTAF? www.independent.co.uk/news/world/a...

- It's crazy that Stone's comments aren't getting more attention. People are becoming numb to these threats.

- 🧵The lies from Mohammad Adnan Khan (aka Mo Khan) keep stacking. The man behind the “F*ck the Jews” sign at Barstool Philly just went on Neo-Nazi Stew Peters’ show—yes, that Stew Peters—to blame it all on Portnoy &, of course, the Jewish people. This isn’t damage control. It’s hate. Video 2 in thread
- 2 Mo Khan defended the “F the Jews” sign on air—calling it a way to “highlight Israel” while agreeing with Peters on Jewish supremacy. That’s centuries-old antisemitic poison, now in livestream form. He’s not sorry. He’s radicalizing. This isn’t about policy. It’s pure, public Jew hatred.
- The fact that people can monetize Jew hate is incredibly disturbing.
- let’s make it 40
- Just looked at the process for getting a Real ID drivers license in Virginia and boy is it annoying and dumb. Maybe I'll just stop flying instead.
- Based on how air travel is going, that's probably a good idea!
- More firings at the National Cancer Institute, including the Cancer Information Service, “which provides answers to doctors and patients about cancer, and updates to databases summarizing cancer information for healthcare providers”. I mean who needs it, right? www.cbsnews.com/news/nih-lay...
- Are any politicians highlighting these actions? This seems like a great topic for podcasts, investigations etc.

- I remember the Repubs were unpopular in 2009. Didn't hurt them in 2010.
- 🧵This is who we are now? A country where it’s acceptable to parade a “F*ck the Jews” sign through a packed Philly bar while people cheer & shout slurs? We are 2% of the U.S. population but 2/3 of religious hate crimes are against us. This didn’t start in a vacuum. It’s open season on Jewish people

- I'm worried about people doing vile and corrosive stuff like this as money making schemes.
- i think it is great that even after electing trump a second time, one of the two major parties is falling even further into madness arstechnica.com/health/2025/...
- I've given up on Medicare for All. I don't want Repubs involved in my healthcare.

- Donald Trump is now opposed to materialism.
- The impact of an unpopular American president on a foreign election is stunning. Never seen anything like the seismic political shift Trump triggered in Canada to deliver a stunning Liberal win. Trump’s toxicity is rewriting global politics.
- All politics is international now!

- All you have to say is 'restore cancer research funding' or 'prosecute white collar crime' and you're a fighter. It's never been easier to be a normie Dem!

- Since a Medicare for All system would be destroyed by RFK Jr types, what ideas do you have to lower health care costs?

- Dems could run on removing tariffs on food and restoring cancer research funding. Try to be more popular.

- This. That's why I'm skeptical of AOC. People may just someone to cut tariffs and have a competent SecDef and HHS.

- They could run on investigating those things i.e. find out what the gov is hiding from you. Worked in 06.
- Dems should use investigations to go after Trumpcoins, SignalGate, "autism registry" if they get one or both houses back. Highlight incompetence, corruption, and eugenics.
- should i write about george santos given all my past coverage of him or is it not even worth it
- Worth it. He is an interesting greed story.

- Dems react to events instead of shape events. This makes Trump look like a leader. They should propose things and see what sticks. Take the initiative.

- I think poorly addressed is key. Many Midwestern cities have high crime and poor schools that make it hard to keep residents and attract new industries.

- I think we're going to see a much older Dem primary electorate in 2026 and 2028. It's why I'm bearish on AOC as the Dem nominee.

- Twenty years ago, if you wrote that President Trump poisons our relationship with Canada in 2025, you would've been called crazy. But here we are!
- On CNBC today, Elizabeth Warren had to explain to anchor Sara Eisen that Congress can in fact take away Trump's tariffs authority, and also that America is not ruled by a king who can make laws by decree.

- She's not my cup of tea, but she's going to have the Bernie lane to herself. Normie Dems need a fighter to counter Vance/Don Jr AND her.
- Unlike the rest of the Squad, AOC is extremely charismatic. Mainstream Dems need a fighter badly.
- Last night at about 2AM, my family and I woke up to bangs on the door from the Pennsylvania State Police after an arsonist set fire to the Governor’s Residence in Harrisburg.

- Repeal the Trump tax increases! They should say that over and over again.
- The bond market shows capital flight from the United States, with people selling off US debt. It’s the opposite of what usually happens during economic turmoil, when people buy US debt because they think it’s the safest asset in the world. The US-led global economic system is dead. By suicide.
- [Not loaded yet]
- All Trump had to do was nothing and he messed that up. People need to state the truth over and over again.
- [Not loaded yet]
- Absolutely! We need a nominee with a new vision. Those two are stale. AOC too frankly.

- It shocked me to my core that Hamas committed a pogrom and so many Westerners felt no sympathy for the Jews. Some people even marched for Hamas!
- I will say that it is funny that three positions that were the core of my youth: the current neoliberal trade regime is bad, the Iraq War is a monstrous mistake and George W Bush sucks, have now become right-wing canon.
- It's more than that. RW used to hate "stupid granolas" that were anti-vax. And they viewed RFK Jr as a nutcase

- We’re setting ourselves up for part of the 2028 Dem primary being anti-establishment bro energy that’s rabidly pro-free trade against ideological leftists running back part of Bernie 2016.
- Who would be the anti-establishment, free trade bro? I assume AOC would be the leftist.
- Apropos of nothing: Kamala Harris predicted this exact moment happening: “Understand that part of Trump’s plan is to put in place a national sales tax of at least 20% on everyday goods and necessities.” She warned us over & over again & she was so right.

- If they highlighted Gazans protesting Hamas, I'd respect them. But Jill Stein and company only want to use Palestinians to criticize Dems.
