I used to be some things. Unsure of what I've become.
StPD, not stupid
- Sometimes when my mind hurts I really wish there was a drug I could take or activity I could do to make it stop. Even something difficult that I could work towards would be appreciated.
- May 13th is Schizotypal Awareness and Celebration Day! Celebrate those that deal with a loose collection of psychosis, derealization, social anxiety, paranoia, thought disorder, magical thinking, and odd beliefs. Be kind to those you know, or try to learn more about those that exist.
- Dissociating feels like unplanned system maintenance. For some it's because something catastrophically broke. Others it's because the daily maintenance wasn't being done. For me it feels like an old system that just feels like 3pm is a fine enough time to reindex the whole production database.
- While both are bad companies, I find it funny how fb and goog treat complaints about ads. If I don't like an ad on ig it shrugs, makes a note, and we both go on with our day. On yt it feels like they want me to file court documentation if I just think an ad is weird.

- Mental Health Awareness Month: While I adore the idea of neurodiversity, a lot of talk around it gives me pause. Is it just a synonym for Autism+ADHD or is it talking about all types? Is it only at birth, or also those brains changed by trauma? What about those who notice differences later in life?
- Frankly I'm deciding to walk away from this issue. Just like those brave heroes from that one short story. By making myself not feel responsible, I've solved the problem of me feeling bad. While I do hate the Torment Nexus, I really hated all the people bringing it up every day.

- I wonder how strongly one has to be dissociating to be essentially committing DUI?
- I'm sure this was /pol/ or maybe /b/ but I want to believe it was in a 40k discussion on /tg/.

- Mental Health Awareness Month: Searching on NAMI and NIMH shows nearly zero information about Schizotypal. While rare, many of us had no clue it even existed before being diagnosed. A common complaint is that there is little support/information online and researched focused on us is very rare.
- Lots of new players put most of their points into sperm vitality, but experts will tell you that you want a sperm dexterity build if you're going to take it serious. While some see it as a joke, a really fun playstyle is sperm faith with some sperm strength as needed.
- I wonder how many people like Chocolonely but can't handle the pieces being non-uniform? I find the light bit of chaos adds to the joy of having a piece. But I know some folks out there must hate that they're different sizes.

- Sadly, while Mr. Shalhoub has many awards to his name, he only has a single Tony. So while we may talk about Tony's Tony and Tony's awards, we look to a future in which we can discuss Tony's Tonys.
- It's 2017, I am playing AC Origins. I hop on a horse and hit Follow Road. The horse slams into an old lady who cries out. I feel terrible. It's 2025, I am playing AC Origins. I hop on a horse and hit Follow Road. The horse slams into an old lady who cries out. I feel terrible. #FromSiwaToBiwa
- Mental Health Awareness Month: Search "personality disorder" on your social media of choice. You may notice many people attacking their enemies by stating they have a PD. I have seen people openly state that anyone with a mental illness shouldn't be allowed to have certain jobs.
- It's Mental Health Awareness month starting today. I will probably be sharing some thoughts about it in general and about my area of suffering. Some of it may be unpleasant but I hope people can understand. I'm also pondering getting folks together to 'claim' May 13th for Schizotypal awareness.
- I wonder if there's a parallel world where teen girls who were out exploring the woods would find a tree stump with dogeared romance novels and printouts of fanfics?
- I like it when games let you use both controller and mouse/kb at the same time. I love it when you can toggle back and forth. The worst is when you select mkb and the game is like 'well, you still want controller rumble, right?' and you have to disconnect the controller to make it stop.
- "She was my first and most recent kiss." You think it's sweet that he married his high school crush. What you don't know is that when he touched the artifact he lived thousands of years in an instant, serving as the paramour of the Space Empress. ...also they broke up for like a week in college.
- Updates on cats: Kitten is unsure if she's a good girl. Eldest knows he's quite good. Big baby has no idea if he's good. Also has no idea about anything. Isn't fully sure he's a cat.
- *looking at year old code* Oh wow, I need to refactor... No, I'm not smart enough to refactor code. I need to fuck this code up, then unfuck it even further.
- I think too many people don't recognize that dating apps are the digital version of newspaper personal ads. Just like you have to get out into hobby spaces / cafes / bars, you have to put yourself out in digital spaces. You have to give people something to interact with.
- Also, please read my posts about colorblindness, videogame accessibility, or games in general as coming from a place of joy. It's getting better over time, and there are so many neat people making cool things. This stuff is hard to do but there's always room for improvement.
- Adding Action or QTE elements to Turn Based Combat doesn't make me like a Turn Based game more, it just makes an Action game slower and worse. It's disheartening that I can't play many new RPGs when I'm having brain problems. Because when my brain is running fast, I'll just play action games.
- There needs to be a 'somebody bit the onion' but for Jon Bois jokes. There seems to always be someone who either takes his premise completely at face value or assume he's talking about something political. The best are when the posts break containment and people are angry at the huge like count.
- I use a swipe keyboard on my phone and it's fine most of the time. But have you had so much trouble getting a word to auto complete that you start to doubt it's a real word?
- My brain leaped to this being a social media apology... "I previously stated this adult cat was not a little tiny cutey baby. I was wrong, I am listening, I am learning. I hope I can come back as a better me."
- I think people are still giving too much power to GenAI. Delusions/hallucinations are not rational and we can't just be talked out or into them. People can excite or calm you, but that's different. GenAI 'reinforces' delusions the same way street signs, newspapers, and small rocks do.
