- 📌 Check out all of our feeds! 📌 The Astronomy feeds network includes many different feeds covering a range of astro topics. Anyone can read them; if you're an astronomer, you can post to any of them by signing up via @bot.astronomy.blue. Here's a thread of all of them:Nov 13, 2024 19:32
- The main feed is the Astronomy feed, which signed up users can post to with a 🔭 emoji, #astronomy, or #astro.
- But there are *loads* of specific subfeeds! All posts to them are automatically included in the main Astronomy feed, but they offer a way to see specific topics. The first subfeed is the dedicated astrophotography feed, which you can post to with #astrophotography or #astrophotos.
- Then there are lots of science topic subfeeds! These feeds are intended more for talking about astronomy research. In alphabetical order, that's... The Cosmology feed: #cosmology
- The Exoplanets feed: #exoplanet / #exoplanets
- The Extragalactic astronomy feed: #extragalactic
- The High Energy Astrophysics feed: #highenergyastro
- The Instrumentation feed: #instrumentation
- The Milky Way feed: #milkyway
- The Planetary Science feed: #planetaryscience / #planetsci
- The Radio Astronomy feed: #radioastronomy / #radioastro
- Then there are some other general topics, including the Software/Methods feed posted to with #astromethods, #astrocoding, or #astrocode:
- The Astronomy education feed: #astroeducation / #astroedu
- And the History of Astronomy feed: #astrohistory / #historyofastronomy
- We might add more feeds in the future, but will work on supporting the current ones better first (stay tuned!)
