- Last Friday, I defended my PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics 🪐 Still processing… but you can call me Dr. Bibi now. 💅 I am eternally grateful to my supervisors, mentors, and everyone who supported me on this journey. 💜 #astronomy #exoplanets
- The night is now dominated by the moon. Imaged the transits of #exoplanets KSP-1 b and WASP-103 b last night. 🔭
- So... we have scheduled 30 hours of quasi-continuous observations. Quasi? Yes. We are missing one hour due to hour-angle limitations. Can you guess when the ingress is happening? 🔭 #exoplanets
- We got a very important transit event we had approved to observe from space unscheduled, and it happens every 7.5 months, and the next time the star is not visible by the telescope (or from ground). So now I'm just checking Cerro Tololo like every minute waiting for the sky to clear #exoplanets 🔭
- The sub-Neptune TOI-421b is made of much the same stuff as its star — matching predictions, but bucking the trend among other similarly sized planets. buff.ly/x80mxR9 . . #astronomy #exoplanets #planet #cosmology
- 👀 Plato's eyes are growing! ✅ The activities to assemble our terrestrial planet hunting mission are progressing well, with 24 of the spacecraft’s 26 cameras now installed by OHB in Germany. Read more 👉 www.esa.int/Science_Expl... 🔭 🧪 #exoplanets #instrumentation
