- No. We lost because people believed a lie and a liar. V.P. Harris had the support of all the Dems. base groups. They all came out in to do their part. Young people failed to come out to their part. Now they are asking for power. As a Boomer, the 70s was not a cake work for us. Yet, we survived.

- Yeah, I am from the old school. Seen since the 70s how black voters have gained political power in this country and within the Dem. party. That power was earned by organizing, registering and mobilizing voters to vote. This was especially true when black voters elected black mayors in big cities.
- Young voters keep talking about give us power. Black voters in Detroit, Cleveland, Atalanta and Newark N.J. used their votes to elect black city council members and mayors. They did not ask for power, they took control and gained power. These early successes help black voters to elect
- Congressmen and Congresswomen to office. Bill Clinton recognized the power of the black vote and made the effort to win their votes. Obama did the same in his two wins. The black vote has become the base of the party because they are strong and reliable. Young voters need to learn this lesson.
