- Do Republican lawmakers know the Qatari jetliner bribe is wrong? Of course. Would they scream bloody murder if the Dems did it? Of course. Do they care that it's wrong? Nope. They've made a deal with the devil. Their best hope is that there's a place for them in the coming criminal dictatorship.
- Would love to know who’s getting rich when Trump manipulates the stock market by raising and lowering and delaying tariffs.
- Why do people in the news media act like a president's executive order is a magic wand? Don't they understand how things really work?
- Trump's lies and hate speech are toxic to Americans' mental health. He makes us sick – literally.
- It’s journalistic malpractice for NBC News to spend 34 words in a headline and subhead about the flying bribe from Qatar and not give any hint of the mind-blowingly corrupt nature of the deal. If you’re afraid to honestly explain why it’s a scandal, at least call it “controversial.”
- It’s cute how the New York Times says the flying bribe from Qatar “raises substantial ethical issues” for Trump when NYT has spent a decade normalizing Trump’s substantial ethical issues.
- Great point.
- Hoping @raskin.house.gov @durbin.senate.gov ask Pam Bondi why she didn't recuse from a matter pertaining to Trump accepting bribes from Qatar, given that she herself was only recently a paid agent of Qatar.
- Pam Bondi spends the Justice Department’s resources providing dodgy legal support for a foreign country bribing the president.
- Soon after firing the Librarian of Congress, Trump has fired the nation’s top copyright official as well. Rep. Joe Morelle says Trump acted after the copyright official “refused to rubber-stamp Elon Musk’s efforts to mine troves of copyrighted works to train AI models.”
- I’m not sure what Dr. Carla Hayden’s biggest crime was as the librarian of Congress, but it was probably one or all of these: / Being Black. / Being a woman. / Being dedicated to the preservation of information.
