Hahahahaha oh my god. These people are so ridiculous.

"What a dumbs***": Democrats privately rage over "utterly selfish" impeachment vote
One senior House Democrat said of Rep. Shri Thanedar's efforts: "People are pissed."
May 14, 2025 01:41“The vote could be tough for many Democrats, who feel impeachment is politically foolish but are facing demands from their grassroots to mirror Trump's shock-and-awe tactics.”
So basically everyone who hates their own supporters. How sad for them.
I also love how this is considered selfish because it’s obviously popular to force them to do their jobs, something they have completely refused to do for months in the least productive Congress in modern history.
Also because it’s angering me how little reporting has been done on the articles themselves, which are extremely strong, you can read them here.
If you don’t have much time, I would just read Article VII: Tyranny. It’s about a page and a half.

So which is it?!?!? Supporting impeachment is going to lose you votes?? Or is it to gain you votes???? These people are fucking dumbasses!!!
My fav part of this is the idea that impeachment is a “distraction” from their “focus” on the reconciliation bill…like they need to be 100% locked in for 8 weeks to remember if they’re supposed to vote no on a bill to kill Medicaid so Jeff Bezos can have 2 more yachts
learn to walk & chew gum
Selfish?
Selfish?
What.
We're all gonna die.
Out here in the land of the public we are faced with a President committing crimes under color of his office's authority to take advantage of his immunity delivered to him by the Supreme Court. But the Court also said he can be impeached for those crimes and every day brings a new outrage JUST DO IT
lmao
I genuinely don't understand how they think any of this works. They realize they can...just do it again, right?
Like the main complaint seems to be "it will make us say Donald Trump should be impeached" which, uh, yeah, if you're not at that point, then you're not part of the opposition!
Public officials should not be able to make anonymous comments to the press. Stand by your words or fuck off.
If they want to talk shit and keep their names hidden, fine. Assume every Democrat except Thanedar and Green said every one of those quotes.
They just don’t seem to get that messaging for its own sake works!
Her Emails became A Thing because the GOP knows that if they just made a big enough deal and enough noise, people would discuss it. Same with Hunter Biden.
Trump has given Dems 1000 serious issues but….silence.
If Dems just picked one outrage - “he’s trying to erase all non-white/straight people!” “He’s corrupt as fuck” “His Qatari jet!” Etc etc - and ALL talked about it dramatically to everyone they saw for a month straight, IT WOULD HAVE AN IMPACT.
Instead they think tweeting once is enough, move on.
Wait until Democrats find out how pissed people are about their pathetic lack of action
God forbid a Democrat makes a tough decision…the horror
Isn’t Axios more right leaning now? I remember they had published a few hit pieces on Obama during the last campaign blaming him for the Biden mess. I don’t trust them at all
Every Democrat and Republican not doing the same is violating their oath of office.
So their answer to a criminal that ignores the Supreme Court, the law, the Constitution, and is literally committing impeachable offenses,
is to do nothing.
The party still can’t see the people want to be represented — they want leaders to fight for them!
And the ones who do they push away.
