- The corruption in this party is unbelievable.
- The Democrats are currently polling at roughly +2 on the congressional generic ballot. It is hardly a given they retake the House and it is extremely dangerous to make plans based around such an assumption.
- We are a ways away from a totalitarian state but if members of Congress continue to do nothing but say "I AM OUTRAGED", we will get there just fine.
- Here is my Joe Biden impression: "Look folks, Number one, I take full responsibility for this thing. Number two, I was...[five meandering minutes later]...anyway that's why if only I could have been more hateful to immigrants and Kamala wasn't a woman, we would have crushed it."
- The thing that gets me is DC doesn’t actually need to be that much of a bubble. Get outside the federal buildings and there is a super vibrant city with regular people?
- I honestly get the sense that Democratic leadership doesn’t care about the rule of law at all. When there is ever a pivot point where they can stand for the rule of law or do whatever is their reflexive habit, they pick the latter.
- Even some of the smarter staffers in Congress have created ludicrous fantasies in their heads of how this is all going to end. So my basic belief is we are all going to have to keep forcing the issue and causing a ruckus until they snap out of their delusional bubbles.
- The only thing I am sure of is that all the Democrats who think it is a genius idea to not call for Trump’s removal are going to look like colossal idiots no matter who writes the history books.
- How many members of Congress have even bothered commenting on this? Like I’m sorry, what the fuck? These people are supposed to represent us right?
