- Here's a question I've been struggling with for a few years now. And I can't come up with an answer I feel comfortable with. Why is "patriotism" good?
- It *should* be a unifying force providing cohesion to the population but in the US it's not going so well. In a pluralistic society we can have different beliefs etc but loyalty to the country (the Constitution) is the glue. Putting the Prez, your race, your church above that undermines the US.
