I like to draw people. I like to make observations about things.
- A happy Mothers Day to all those who were born with or without a uterus. Your love is still coming from the heart. And that counts more than what's below the belt. 😊
- The WNBA is not just about a league of teams competing for a championship. Every player knows that competitive games will draw an audience. Growing the brand is just as important as winning games. This is a growth market. Players and staff are socially conscious, especially in these times.
- We hadn’t won World War II by May 8th. I know because my family and I were still in an internment camp in Tule Lake, California.

- That said, he probably doesn't know when the atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I think that as the years pass, that anniversary is less and less remembered. Because it was on the Pacific side of the war.
- If there is someone to blame for China's dominance in the global marketplace is the American consumer. Not the government, not the CEOs, not Walmart. Americans want cheap goods. They will not pay for Americans who work for a decent wage. Look in the mirror, folks. You did this.
- In following the WNBA this season and last, realize that there are so many great players besides Caitlin Clark, and they get hardly a mention. Diehard fans know better.
- The Sun defeats the Liberty? Last year's WNBA champions beaten on their home court Friday night. This will be an interesting 2025 season. #wnba
- You know that Twilight Zone episode where the kid has amazing psychic powers and can make people disappear with his mind and the entire town is hostage to him and has to cater to his every whim? That’s us right now.

View full threadBill Mummy. He was also in Lost in Space.
- You're correct. It was Bill Mummy. Why did I think it was Ronnie Howard?

- Saw your post on IG and decided to see your bluesky. Thought I was already following you, but was surprised that was not the case. I'm following you now.

- To my understanding, the United States is primarily Eurocentric. Why else would there be the majority of WWII movies be set in Europe and not Asia? Now... if the United States had been founded by Chinese colonists, this might be a different story.
- Did you know the “weekend” and working only 8 hours per day used to be considered a radical, liberal idea? 139 years ago today, in Bay View, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 7 workers (including a 13 yo) lost their lives to advance this revolutionary idea. A 🧵
- Well, that's the 19th century for you. Is that what they mean by taking America back? Back to the 19th century?
- A gift to the NRA.
- 120 portraits in the memorial only? Literally 10s of thousands must have died of gun violence in America. The enormity could probably not be comprehended if thousands of pictures were on the walls. They would run out of walls.
- This is a shockingly mistaken understanding of due process by Stephen Miller. It is likely this misunderstanding that is informing the President’s misunderstanding.
- The 5th Amendment doesn't say 'citizen', it says person. Immigrants, legal or not, are persons. Case closed. He's an idiot.
- I wonder why this amendment is not brought up in cases where the local police seize personal property in the form of forfeiture for the purpose of selling said property to plug up department budget shortfalls. Even when cases don't go to court.
- Didn't Ronnie Howard play that kid in the episode? People he didn't like were sent to the cornfield.
- Am thoroughly impressed with Makenzie Holmes (from Indiana) performance against the Sun today. Coming back from an ACL injury that sidelined her last season, it is wonderful to see her put up points. Wonder how she'll match up against the Liberty's Breanna Stewart?
- Why Trump supporters cannot see that the Republicans have undermined the safety nets they rely on and blame Democrats for the failure or ineffectiveness of those safety nets is beyond me. They probably rely more on emotions than reasoning. Emotional people don't think.
- Oh man. I order nematodes online to get rid of gnats in my plant pots, and I’m so disappointed. It’s just a bunch of white powder you mix with water. I wanted an army of warrior toads to do battle on my behalf.
- Aren't nematodes worms? That's the way I remember them from high school biology.
- It's a cult, and like most cults is designed to make you deny the reality that is the rest of the world.
- Unless we are in a prison environment, how is being tough an advantage? I thought being human was the point of being with others. That and using your brains.
- March 2022, Russia occupies about 30 percent of Ukraine. Today? Less than 20 percent at the cost of over 900k casualties. Tell me again how Russia is winning?!? youtu.be/lvVI64jVXuI?...
- From the onset, I saw this war as how Russia will bleed out. How different the reaction the United States is from when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan. Things really have changed.
- To ignore VJ day is a slap in the face of every sailor, marine, and army airmen who fought and died in this bloody theater. which, by the way, was the biggest of the war. And give due credit to the Navy. It was, after all, the first branch that was attacked by the Imperial Japanese Navy.
- Labour victories in Canada and Australia may portend to conservatives losing power in Congress in the mid-terms. If a deep recession happens (when the tariff effects catch up in the 2nd and 3rd quarter), even more so. Donald J Trump may hand the Democrats huge wins in 2026.
- The net effect of the federal government pulling back its support to states is that states will "go it alone" without help. The net effect will be to break up the United States. Yes, conservatives want to break up this country into their own regions of influence. This plays into Russia's hands.
- It was nice to see Muffet McGraw again during the Aces/Wings game yesterday. UCONN isn't the only school sending players into the WNBA.

- Fox News emphasizes property crimes as something the federal government needs to be involved with? If he is going to be held responsible for paint damage and will be compelled to pay, what's the problem. Outstanding of the inconvenience to the owners.
- "They want obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay the longer hours the reduced benefits the end of overtime and the vanishing pension" ~George Carlin
- George was a prophet of impending decline. As much a prophet as those old men in ancient times who went mad in the desert.
- Happy 92nd birthday to the one and only Carol Burnett!
- Carol Burnett is a national treasure. She lifted the mood of millions during hard times.
- RFK Jr.: The teen cum is insufficient. I need more teen cum.
- I assume that they are talking about male teens. Females can produce testosterone, but to a lesser degree. Anyway, RFK Jr. isn't an endocrinologist.
- Not to state the obvious, but none of them were sent to a terrorist prison in El Salvador. They all had lawyers, indictment by grand jury, a trial or a guilty plea where a judge ensured it was knowing & voluntary & access to an appeals process. In other words, all the hallmarks of due process.
- One can take away the impression that only US citizens have due process and not everyone who is in this country.
- Had a discussion about tariffs with a friend yesterday. They believe China pays for it. Tried to tell them that the importers pay the tariffs, not the exporter. We will pay the cost because our desire to want their exports overrides their desire for our exports. We don't make the products we import.

- Well, more than Katy sent off to near earth orbit. They didn't even orbit the earth once. You'd think for that amount of money, they will orbit the earth once.

- Why, you make it sound like when Americans are taken hostage overseas and held ransom.
- Actually, more like, "Palestinian Jew executed for causing trouble and being a threat to the empire with radical ideas of love and forgiveness."
- Goldman Sachs has just put out a warning about a full US-China financial decoupling which would wipe out $2.5 trillion. US investors might be forced to sell $800 billion in Chinese stocks, while China could liquidate $1.7 trillion in US assets, including Treasuries and equities. Boom.

- They started with the mentality disabled as their eugenics program goal.
- Here's a scary thought. If the US government can't sell its debt to the world, then it can't fund the federal government. The economy melts down. This happens to third world countries, doesn't it?
- Ultimately, what happens when investors around the world refuse to buy US government debt? Interest rates have to go up to entice those investors to buy US government debt. And if Interests rates don't go down? Investors will punish the market by pulling more money out.
- Just a reminder: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. lacks formal education or professional credentials in critical scientific fields such as biology, neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, immunology, virology, epidemiology, genetics, pharmacology, or medicine.
- Since when did being an expert at the sciences become an asset when it comes to spewing half-truths and misinformation? It would be a detriment to having their audience believe them.
- Is still find it hard to believe that there are Jewish people who are Republicans. Aren't Jewish people some of the smartest people on earth?
- The idiot in office insisting that Jerome Powell lower interest rates is like throwing gasoline onto the fire. Better enjoy the spring and early summer folks, before said idiot tanks the world economy.

- Wow... so biblical. The plagues that is.
- Emily Ratajkowski criticizes the Blue Origin space launch in new video: “You are going up in a space ship that is built and paid for by a company that is single-handedly destroying the planet.”
- On the face of it, Blue Origin is essentially like a space elevator. But it instead of getting off a floor.

- Well, the Secretary of State has put forth a false equivalent. He speaks as if tourists were children being admonished by parents instead of welcomed guest with money to spend.
- Whenever I see an "article" about how white men had lost their opportunity due to discrimination, I know their is a motivation to stoke anger against those who are blamed for the perceived loss of opportunities.
