- Yvette Cooper has chosen to hide her frontal attack on immigration behind the Telegraph paywall. Cowardly. The link below will take you to an archived version that bypasses the paywall, which means you won't contribute to the Telegraph's advertising. archive.ph/2025.05.11-0...

View full threadYou are totally correct. A policy of madness in every way. What on earth is Mrs Balls thinking?
- Populist headlines beat any semblance of remaining Lab principles, there’s apparently a loophole allowing some based on demand, but it’s all about the facade of reduced net migration. Lab leaders think they can tough it out & have us back onside for the GE with the threat of Deform, they’re wrong…🤦🏻♀️
- Kind of feels like Labour is also driving the bus and reversing it over trans and non-binary individuals afterwards. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

- Let the common herd vote?
- There’s some delusional stuff on here, still people like to dream…
- Tonight on the Mead Hall menu (top table only) Twat* chicken, rice n corn. Lower tables. Mystery dish** Vegetarian/vegan option. Silt Scraps and scrapings by the leper gate as ever * like a jerk, but from Swindon Take a wild guess.
- I infer there’s a missing ** next to the Take a wild guess comment…🍷🙄🍷 Normally I’d pop round to the Lepers gate but stringy chicken doesn’t naturally lend itself to getting a chunk of anything. I think I will have to stick with some home cooked Thai fishcakes !
- The moment I saw Wes Streeting, looking utterly defeated, get whipped into voting against Amendment 21 and then leave the Commons chamber, I burst out laughing.
- He was obviously feeling dignity & care & compassion & respect as he voted !
- NC21 has failed! 🎉 363 votes to 97! Outstanding result! 🎉
- Thanks for covering, I caught up on Parliament TV.
- 6.5/10

View full threadI would counter that you can't serve a fryup on a plate that is too hot. Not warm, but almost at the point that the food continues cooking. Toast certainly, but on the side.
- I think we are getting into 3 Bears territory here, a plate should be nicely warm to keep the ingredients warm. However, poached eggs tend to suffer from a cooling effect as they are often cooked individually & to keep the yolk runny. A toast raft is sensible & I prefer the yolk to break on toast.
