- Vibe coding: 1. does not make me faster 2. is not fun 3. does not make a better output than me (but it has a small place in my workflow) AI Assistant: 1. helps me workout best practices 2. finds edge cases I did not find before 3. helps in areas where I have shortcomings 4. is a good review fellow
- Sometimes I scroll Twitter because some accounts I enjoy reading are there. What a horrible experience it is. - Conspiracy theorists and MAGA nuts - AI "influencers" that really want you think they know something you don't - Elon. he's everyhere, every two tweets, whichever tab you're in.
- Thinking of the time someone wanted a refund on the course purchased 2 years earlier - because I'd made it public (2 years later)
- Am I the only madman running 3 IDEs open at once? (Webstorm, Cursor, Zed)
- In hindsight should not have opened IBKR
- When you lose even /r/conservative, you know you messed up pretty bad
- Back in 🇹🇼 + new office!
- Thinking of when a digital nomad "living" in Thailand thought he was entitled to a PPP discount because wages in Thailand are lower
- This can't come soon enough Between Typescript 7, Turbopack, Rolldown, etc. I'm hopeful we won't be needing beast CPUs for software development anymore in the future devblogs.microsoft.com/typescript/t...
- Sometimes I wonder how some people find the energy/drive to enter long debates on Reddit/HN.

- Reason: AI is attracting a LOT of non programmers to my product. They think they can ship without understanding the code - and in most cases this means angry customers, refund and chargebacks. Many times, they make a substantial financial expense to buy a kit, when they should use OSS instead
- 30% of my daily emails is convincing people not to buy my product
- Why's everyone making games now on the Bad Place?

- Reposted by giancarlo“More than a quarter of the contracts listed by DOGE were actually already paid, the Journal found, saving no money. For instance, DOGE listed $168,000 in savings for terminating a contract with HHS for an Anthony Fauci museum exhibit. It had already been fully paid.” Beyond parody.

- For some reason I love using Cursor's Composer for throwaway code or non-core code, but I can't bring my self to use it for the important (or fun) pieces.

- It would have been quite a great period if my mental health wasn’t being crushed by US going full Hydra and impending chaos on the countries I care about
- The Makerkit Dev Tools would probably be universally appreciated in the Next.js world. Maybe one day I'll open source it.
- The Makerkit Dev Tools went from <doesnt-exist> to <quite-freaking-good> in less than a day. Cursor was a huge help.
