- A thing I'd like to see re the moderation debate is whether it's possible to analyze how orthogonal moderation is to (say) the ability of a pol to generate earned media. A reasonable take I've seen is that basically dems can't do any of the latter so any of the former is kind of irrelevant.

- They're all just lying through their teeth or else double-talking and the stock market seems to still trust them and so isn't going to know what to do until the shelves are actually empty
