- A thing I'd like to see re the moderation debate is whether it's possible to analyze how orthogonal moderation is to (say) the ability of a pol to generate earned media. A reasonable take I've seen is that basically dems can't do any of the latter so any of the former is kind of irrelevant.

View full threadI think it'd be nice if some prominent dems were at least casually inserting the idea of consequences into the national converation. "I know my colleagues and I are very concerned about corruption and ultimately we owe it to the American people to uphold hte law ..." etc
- Like, signalling to everyone in the admin (especially right now) that the law is important and bad actors are goign to be rooted out could help w everyoen from doge to ICE to insider trading shenanigans. We're going to follow the law and root out corruption seems like it could help right now
