- Men are only slightly more likely to get the help they need from Drs, and even then not always. I've had people tell me hEDS is fake, that I don't have stomach issues when I do. It's so draining being told it's all in our heads when it in fact isn't! Please just listen when we say we're struggling 😓

- I'm more mad they swapped my pasta for a regular version tbh. I don't care why you think someone's dietary restrictions are fake, if you purposely mess with their order, your are willingly harming them. People are assholes and think they know better. For many of us GF isn't a choice, it's a need
- Mind you, I was already disabled but didn't get know it at the time. That was 10 years ago, and now I know my disabilities, I know how to help them, I know how to carry myself. hEDS is a big reason I shattered my knee, it's why my hip has permanent damage too! My mobility aids help me thrive
- As a fellow 16/17 year old who had to have surgery, I feel this! I shattered my knee at 16, took a year for them to finally listen to me only after I last the ability to walk, was disabled by the injury, and needed surgery as my body stopped healing. Now I listen to my body and do what I need.
- This! People act like wheelchairs are for paralyzed people, old people, or amputees only when that's not true! Most of us are ambulatory and can walk or stand for a while before we need the chair, but we are still and always will be wheelchair users! Our aids are there to help us, is why we use them

- As someone with heavy gluten sensitivity, I feel this! While some days I don't look disabled, other days I do. And even when I don't, I'm still disabled cause I have permanent bad tummy days 😅 Pasta was my enemy over the weekend cause I ended up with the wrong noodles. Tasted so good but was hell 😭
- Been learning more and more to hold my head higher every day! I'm starting to really find my people too and it's been such a blessing! The littles found us and love us! And we will continue to offer cute things for our disabled communities because it's so important!

- Hell! Need an affordable option till you can get something better? Go thrifting! Old people die each day and they leave good aids behind. Walkers, canes, crutches, wheelchairs, shower chairs, etc! If you need it, get it! I promise it's always worth it!

Just cause it's cute doesn't mean we're faking, I hate that that's a thing to some people 🤦🏻♂️ Having cure mobility aids helps us want to wear and use them because they don't feel so medical that way.
