- my mom's blood pressure was bad enough for a couple ER trips last week... she's doing better now, though I'm basically taking care of her now by helping w/ all appointments, meds, DASH diet/cooking, but I don't mind I'll help all I can, and I'm in online classes so it's easy enough to help

- on our usual nighttime walk last night through the desert, my #dog started barking and growling - turns out, a BIG fucking coyote was stalking us and following like 30 feet away through the bushes I shined a bright light on it and made some noise and it stopped following, but didn't run away
