I like books, bunnies, bugs, baseball, and bicycles. Photography is original.
Now living in Philly.
- Every time I see this clip I take psychic damage. (Apparently I feel compelled to share the pain.) Does she think the library of congress exists for story time? I suppose if you think the legislature is run by toddlers…

- And went to Villanova.
- Who knew Kugrash worshippers were so organized?
- So efficient. Very wow. www.npr.org/2025/05/07/n...
- I’m curious about the gender dynamics of this. My mom was a professional seamstress for a while, so my household probably wasn’t typical, but I had a handful of dolls who had lots of homemade outfits while my brothers had way more action figures—large sets from Star Trek, He-Man, GI Joe, etc.
- Who really uses more than 8 crayons?
- It cracks me up how much Tegan loves the rower. Sometimes she poses like it’s a sports car.
- @sarahmackattack.bsky.social The native plant project is getting some love over on Mastodon jawns.club/@byebye_eart...
- Cars are famously clean and not dangerous. And people using public transportation definitely doesn’t make traffic better for people in cars. 🙄
- I’m not sure any post that frames itself as an unpopular opinion can accurately be characterized as anodyne.
- Always love seeing Philadanco! The Perelman Theater is an enjoyable venue.

- When I was a kid, wasps would nest in my bedroom window, and it was fun to be able to watch them safely from the other side of a pane of glass. Taken during a previous #InverteFest here’s a photo I thought he might enjoy of a wasp safely inside the window.
- These big bees seem surprisingly camera shy for how often I see them. #InverteFest
- Happy #InverteFest! I feel like I caught part the story of Little Red Riding Beetle. Hopefully it doesn’t find a big bad wolf spider waiting at grandmother’s house after traveling through the dandelion forest.
- Someone is concerned that during bug week I will neglect the buns.

- I hope she finds a good lawyer and gets a huge check from a civil suit (not that it will make up for this).
- Made risotto for dinner and watched the new episode. Serendipity!

- I think the post makes perfect sense. He’s clearly putting his right foot in. 😂
- Got a @governor.pa.gov text saying he started a WhatsApp channel. Seems like a missed opportunity to do something hilarious with Signal. I expect there will be more opportunities.

- I think it would be harder to do ranger things with suddenly different proportions.

- In high school I worked at a framing store and one of my main duties was shrink wrapping. Funny how most things require someone somewhere doing labor.
- Opted to go to the community garden work day instead of the No Kings protest, but I like seeing the Philadelphia photos.

- I’m sorry!
- I think I read some articles mentioning suicide rates or something similar. At the time, it seemed like a straightforward application of my religious beliefs about caring for marginalized people. I also felt a little personal risk—would bigots react to my PCOS male-pattern balding?

- Cars—as in no cars makes for pretty places? (I’m not sure I’m reading the post correctly)
- Today we ponder baseball’s role in life, the universe, and everything.
- “We have others who we’re negotiating with too.”
- Every clip I see of this press conference is sickening.
- Trump says he'd like to deport US citizens to El Salvador: "I'd like to go a step further. I don't know what the laws are, we always have to obey the laws, but we also have homegrown criminals that push people into subways... I'd like to include them in the group of people to get out of the country"
- Send me your dog and cat and birb pics please. It has been a shitty week
- If my phone thinks she could be either a cat or dog, surely Nyssa will help.

- I feel happy in my ignorance that I have no idea who the blue checkmark is. I am also happy that my high school economics class apparently made me a bit less ignorant about a few things.

- Welcome!
- I keep seeing estimates in the 3-5 millions of people at today’s protests, but I don’t see where people are getting those numbers. Anyone know the source(s)?

- It came out over a decade ago, but he may have more recent articles.
- Ok, but seriously, between EPA regulations and import inspections, this administration seems highly likely to cause problems for bees.

- Over a decade ago, Minneapolis is where I started my car-free life. I hope it’s still a great place to be car-free. I think one of the biggest changes for me was accepting things that make car-free life easier as practical, not just indulgent (e.g. nice bike tires or other gear, uber, Instacart)
- I wouldn’t call an article already a couple days old breaking.
- I keep seeing the post, and I am annoyed. It’s tedious, but checking the date is an important information literacy tool. It’s extra complicated because the constant uncertainty about tariffs is part of the problem, it’s just not the simple narrative “yesterday’s announcement led to today’s layoffs”
- Is he conflating groceries and market baskets?
- Criminalizing abortion always harms women who miscarry.

- end the week with some dogs? lets end my first week back with some dogs and cats and maybe even a hedge hog and lizard or two if u feel like sharing
- This is Tegan. She recently fell in love with a rowing machine.

- She went back under the chair, and what the heck was that!?
- I kid you not…
- Oof, if this Phillies game is an indication, I’m not sure I’m up for the tension of baseball this year.
