- There'll be lots of chats this week about how much the public want control of immigration, reduced numbers and integration. Fine. I don't think progressives have ever had the luxury of being blind to that. But that is not what this is about.
- The Labour manifesto for 2029 (assuming armageddon status is still pending) should simply read. A vote for us is like a vote for Reform only without the need to overtly admit you're a bit racisty and think Trump is still funny.
- The European “Coalition of the Willing” has issued an ultimatum to Putin to bring in the 30-day ceasefire by the end of the day or harsh sanctions will be imposed. The Kremlin: “The language of ultimatums is unacceptable for Moscow. It is impossible to talk to Russia in such a language.”
- One would become pretty cynical about sanctions as they are sort of cited as an infinite source of punitive response, but I can't help but wonder why these "harsh sanctions" weren't applied when the initial "harsh sanctions" and the subsequent "harsh sanctions" were.
