- Or can we use our own OpenAI-compatible servers? I found some comments on a forum about how to configure it, but they were old and they didn't seem to work.

- It’s been awhile since I watched Maher or paid any attention to him so I don’t have to hear all about that. 😀
- If that guy is not as insane and unhinged as he leads us to believe every day, are we supposed to feel better or worse?

- I think I need that pan.

- I have a friend who ordered some parts for his small business. He already paid the $18k for it before the tariff spike and now he can’t cancel it. Now he’s going to have to pay another $23k to accept the order or I guess lose his $18k.

- Whenever I need to use reflog, I know I did something incredibly stupid 😂

- That was the very first thing I noticed as well. Need to support the + in the email regex!
- Why does everything that uses 'AI' have to advertise that it's doing that? The UI shouldn't have to say "have AI do foo", it should just say "do foo". Otherwise it just smells of desperation.

- It feels like a distraction from "we are trying to solve a problem for you" to "look at this shiny thing". Am I supposed to suddenly care less if it doesn't solve my problem because now I know it's being done with some fancy AI? It makes me less confident that this product is solving the problem.

- Sen. Chris Murphy @chrismurphyct.bsky.social did a really great timeline of corruption presentation. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the nature of our news cycle so I found this incredibly helpful. www.youtube.com/watch?v=L30R...

- It was great. And I think it was also just such a great and welcoming community. Somehow you guys even let a stupid music student start contributing 😂

- Does anyone else use Blue Sky on web instead of mobile? Is there some way to keep yourself logged in longer? It seems like I have to log in again *constantly*, unlike the iOS app.

- Starter pack is actually what I was thinking of. I didn’t know there are two different things here (lists and starter packs)

- Oh, interesting! I didn’t realize that.
- What about someone who joins and follows a couple of these lists like Elixir devs, .NET devs, etc.. they quickly are following a lot of people but have no followers. It might be interesting to identify clusters that follow 99% each other, possibly to appear like they have a lot of followers.

- I just looked it up. $439! What is supposed to be so amazing about this one to be worth that much?
- I'm sad to learn that Steve Langasek has died. I didn't have a lot of interaction with him in my time at Canonical, but I remember talking to him some during Ubuntu Developer Summits and he was always such a nice guy. thenewstack.io/steve-langas...

- Anyone here using #ElixirLang and AppSignal for error logging? Do you ever run into errors that have backtraces that are just *totally* useless? I have one today that's one frame: lib/enum.ex:2531 in Enum."-reduce/3-lists^foldl/2-0-"/3

- How about this? Foo.handle_event(“…”, %{“…” => “…”}, %Phoenix.LiveView.Socket{…}) I get these *all* the time where all the useful information is masked out with “…” I asked in Elixir Slack and someone said they don’t get that. I contacted AppSignal and the guy who responded said it’s normal.

- I contacted about this and another issue. I couldn’t find the link to this one anymore so I just talked to someone about my other issue. I’ll try to find the issue with this problem and talk to him again.

- I was initially opposed to taxing unrealized gains, but I thought about it more and that's basically what happens to the middle class already. Our biggest asset is usually our home and we're taxed on it every year based on the approximate value of it.

- Is this maybe an issue of having something misconfigured somewhere? Or does anyone have any suggestions on how to approach these sorts of issues? My first thought was maybe the error is happening inside a Task.async/1 or something, but we tested that and got better stack traces.

- Years ago I was bothered by the Primrose Viola Competition’s scoring system and made a little tool to demonstrate why it sucked. Their system was to drop two (out of nine) random scores for each contestant for each round of the competition. I thought dropping highest and lowest made more sense.

- Thanks for making this! Glad to be here now and find so many #ElixirLang devs already here! Thanks for posting how you can use a custom domain for your username. I didn't even realize that was a feature here before you posted that. That's such a great feature.
