- Just occurred to me that the only time I use Google search anymore is when I want to go to a specific page; like search “github rails” to go the rails repo. Everything else is through an AI chat app. Insane how fast things change 🤯

- Still struggling with it but what’s helped me the most is realizing that NOT doing the tasks that don’t have the MOST significant impact on my long/mid/short term goals is a super power; you’re making way for the ones that do. All the less impactful tasks are a distraction or a nice to have at best

- I used to wonder how all these cloud providers could offer their infra for a fraction of what it costs on AWS/GCP 🤔 These days I wonder how AWS/GCP still gets away charging multiples of what their infra is worth 🤯 😂
- Migrated our non-critical S3 storage over to wasabi.com and loving it so far! Amazing transfer speed, plus with no egress, free API calls and ~$6/TB, it cuts our S3 costs by ~90% Tried Hetzner storage, but since our servers are in the US and their storage is in EU, the speed and lag was quite meh
- 20’s my goal was to work in big corps cos that’s what I was TOLD I need 🏢 30’s my goal was to launch a VC backed startup cos that’s what I THOUGH I need 💰 40’s my goal is to bootstrap products I ❤️ cos that’s what I KNOW I need 🎨 Each goal so much more rewarding, and more freedom, than the last 😍
