- Just finished a day of hiking 11.5 miles along the Bull Run Occoquan trail to a winery (Paradise Springs ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐). I am exhausted & my body is broken, but it was totally worth it.

- Victory! I have finally figured out a reliable, not-too-aggressive method to filter out unrelated press releases from the Arlington VA feed. It was a growing problem of organizations HQ'ed here getting picked up by keywords.
- I had a great time at our #YIMBYsOfNOVA Spring Picnic in Alexandria's beautiful Brenman Park. It was great seeing @janefgreen.bsky.social, @lucagattonicelli.bsky.social, @ad-mastro.bsky.social, & candidate for HD-1 Arjoon Srikanth.

- Reminder: the 'Arlington VA' feed relies on keywords in the post or image alt-text. There are many people posting great local stuff that just doesn't mention 'Arlington' or major neighborhoods, so never gets picked up by the feed. I'm publishing a list, but FYI the hashtag #ArlingtonVA always works.
- Just improved the Arlington VA feed to properly filter out global mentions of a certain town in New York that shares a name with one of our neighborhoods. I thought I'd had that filtered out already, but the REGEX being used turned out to be faulty. Now replaced and working fine.
- I'm very excited to see Free2Move back in Arlington! I was a happy customer before they left, and am hoping to see better competition with ZipCar to provide a less expensive and better maintained alternative.
- Yikes! WTH happened on Washington Blvd near Clarendon while I was gone? Someone took out a bus stop and RFB in Lyon Park.

- Split b/w TX & AR, the town of Texarkana has managed to preserve old buildings & a main street. A man approached as I took pics to proudly tell the city's story. Turns out Matt Solomon, TXK's Historic Preservation Officer, is a big fan of @strongtowns.org & wants growth while keeping history.
