- I mean, no one could’ve ever predicted Hellebuyck going from Vezina/Hart-level to “worst goalie in the playoffs”, but no one can pretend to be shocked that the areas the Jets needed to shore up are the ones costing them when they can’t rely on 37 being outstanding.

- You won’t find me arguing that Hellebuyck hasn’t been anywhere close to average let alone his usual self, save for 1-2 games and the Game 7 OT. But maybe WPG can relieve that mental pressure by icing an offensively capable lineup (that isn’t PP boosted) and not giving him 60+ games anymore.

- I get Tanev is the gutsy shot blocker but he totally abandoned the already falling apart structure leaving Granlund wide open for the hat trick
- Nino’s gotta be stronger on that dump from the blueline if he’s covering for Pionk’s aggressive pinch. The rush chance going all the way against Hellebuyck’s glove that’s been torched all playoffs was just the cherry on top for the Stars. You can see 37 make himself smaller on that replay, too
- Jets are going to have so very few odd man rush chances that you simply cannot play it so safe that you pass it right into the skates of your teammate. Just a rough look for a team desperate for chances, let alone goals

- At time he shows the hands on some goals and he’s usually great at protecting the puck in rushes too, but too inconsistent or can’t put both together at times, yeah
- Barron had a nice little heater looking real dangerous on the fourth line vs the Blues. Been totally the opposite vs the Stars. Not as sure he would've been a good replacement to Namestnikov to inject some life to the Jets middle six anymore. WPG's 2C problems continue forevermore.
