- IMO Petrovic is trying to kick it to his own stick, but it goes all the way to Hellebuyck and his goalstick and in the net. Intention doesn't matter - by letter of the rulebook, it deflects in after the kick (excluding goalie's stick) and thus it should be no goal.
- Scheifele completely forgets how to play with a bad play in the NZ and not going after Rantanen with the puck once the play is back in the DZ and it's a "bang-bang" goal in game-time but nearly 10 minutes in real-time. Jets need to battle back for mental fortitude at the very least.
- A coverage miss from Vilardi too after a slow line change from Appleton. A good time for Arniel to use his timeout but Jets have been struggling to get to the inner slot since the start of the 2nd. Hard to score goals if all the shots are from the outside.
