- SUPERHOT VR had its whole story patched out. I thought about it slightly too long and fell into rabbit hole. It doesn't make sense, it's bad that it happened, and it prompts a whole bunch of naval-gazing about Art.

- It’s widely documented that LLMs can leak their own prompts. They can’t tell you about their training data, but Musk didn’t train a whole new AI around “white genocide” claims, he just ordered his existing AI to respond a certain way. AIs can and do talk about those instructions!

- anyone else think that ffmpeg's twitter account is corny as hell
- there's something very entertaining about being obsessed with c/asm and hating rust while they unironically deploy gitweb in 2025 and their CLI is so obtuse I see people using LLMs for it. tech mindset stuck in in the 2000s

- for those unaware, Elon Musk’s so-called “AI” Grok is currently spitting out nonsense because he is trying to make it say white genocide is real

- 1.) This fucks a huge range of students with disabilities 2.) In an environment where universities are increasingly demand we make courses available fully online, it's absolutely unworkable 3.) It does not actually address the pedagogical gap created by writing an exam or essay with an LLM
- 1) Students with disabilities get accommodations. 2) There can be workarounds in this regard as well but they take more effort on the part of professors including oral exams and more group projects and presentations

- just to put this on main feed, mensa is where people who are good at tests but who have no real talents or interests go when they grow up. they can keep seeking praise for high test scores and talking about their high test scores like children forever. actually smart people have smart interests

- Let me tell you, getting to preview a #MtGxFINALFANTASY card to the the #FFXIV Fishcord AND IT'S FISHY... was not on my bingo card. So incredibly excited the Fishcord was chosen for this. Here's Namazu Trader. Thanks to WotC and SquareEnix for giving the Fishcord this opportunity!

- my greatest hope for the future is that the people there will someday look upon the cruelties of this time with deep disgust
- My greatest hopes for the future involves very many happy people who incidentally see the past as having been a tragedy but that is definitely not the critical part to look forward to.

- I avoided "getting parasocial with streamers" autism and instead got "getting parasocial with game development companies" autism. I thrive on brief screencaps of internal dev tools and extremely minor details about development processes.
- the prizes of every collection: - pixelated, low-res screenshots taken from presentations - URLs no one should care about (bonus points if they no longer exist) - build paths - the sinking feeling that their code is just as much of a hack as yours
