- Trans rights and feminism are so often presented as being in conflict - when the main enemy of both is a rigidly gendered society that protects the social privilege of cis men at everyone else’s expense. Elon Musk’s failed quest to control the gender of his offspring is emblematic of that.
- Sometimes I think about how Elon Musk did everything he could to have all-male children & his virulent transphobia may all stem from the fact that one of his kids defied his gender selection for them. I mean, he's also a vile, hateful misogynist & bigot, so maybe not. It's gross no matter what.
- The focus is on controlling feminity. Trans rights ARE women's rights and women's rights are human rights. All this shit stems from misogyny.
- They don't care about trans men because they consider them to be women who can be physically put in place and aren't an actual threat. Tomboys have been fine longer than "sissy boys" have been permitted to exist.
