- Keeping this handy for when I’m next discussing universal basic income, and someone says ‘you can’t just give people money for doing nothing’. Apparently you can give CEOs huge bonuses just for doing a shit job. UBI seems quite reasonable in comparison.
- It really is so glaring when you have stories of hiring managers complaining that applicants only care about salary and benefits, while at the same time the common refrain of paying CEOs so much is that if it was less they wouldn't take the job...
- Spent more than an hour and a half so far designing my email signature like my entire career depends on it. WTF is wrong with me.

View full threadIt's easy if you just use simple HTML. But I wanna get a little fancy, so I use a tool to help me with the CSS. And that tool isn't meant to export simple static sites, so the result is too damn complicated for a signature. So then I try it in Google Docs and of course it looks awful
- But that awful look pastes so nicely into gmail.
