- Reposted by Graham SimpsonTrump capitulated to China and got nothing out of it. After weeks of on and off tariffs, the only thing Trump did was cause the market to freak out, screw up the entire supply chain, destroy the dollar as the “reserve currency", and killed the US’s soft power advantage.

- If the 2024 General Election had been held using proportional representation there would almost certainly have been a coalition between Labour, Lib Dems and Greens. No winter fuel cut, no disability cuts, tougher on Trump, tougher on Israel’s war in Gaza, better progress on Europe.
