- Yeah Roger Ebert brought up Heavy Metal as a clear influence in his off-the cuff assessment of the Ghost in the Shell movie and well, not surprised he was right on the money.
- He’s not wholly unprecedented in this - it’s been argued that the Tom Clancy novel Executive Orders impacted Bill Clinton’s policy on bioterrorism - but like all his thinking is just this.
- Back in March 2020 I started this scratchbuilt riff on a worker bee from Star Trek. Finally found it, added some more parts, and painted it today. Gonna detail it up and add some weathering this weekend.
