just a simple lawyer from a sleepy border town he/him
- well this one is going to start some fights

- yes, I did intend the word "should" instead of "could" above
- it's unenforceable unless there's a clear paper trail and they get mad about it, then it's super enforceable. like if i push a project to my other github in my free time they'll never know, unless it blows up and they feel like it competes with them
- this can vary *significantly* by state; before doing anything along these lines, a subject-matter expert attorney in your local jurisdiction could be consulted
- AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

- the F-47C Trumpcat
- After Max goes back to HBO Max, it goes back to being HBO, then Home Box Office, then Sterling Cable Network, then Manhattan Cable, as the grass grows back into the ground and we all marvel at Video Jukebox, George Carlin Specials and G-String Divas

- well I dearly hope it's a documentary on the history of the pretzel; I'd watch that

- I assume David Copperfield is a Dickens adaptation, and not something involving the magician
- Bring back shop classes, start an initiative to ban child marriage, put figures forward that can nail a pro-immigrant line from personal experience like Pritzker can and then float repealing the NFA

View full threadI was shortening language, sorry. Machine gun crime was a big problem *before there were laws restricting machine guns*. Between the 1934 NFA and the 1986 FOPA (when you could buy a brand-new MG from a catalog), legally-owned MGs were used in very, very few (single-digits) crimes
- just $149.95 for a Maxim gun but here I am without any colonial revolts to put down
- Turn semiautomatic rifles into NFA Class III firearms, and then repeal the 1986 FOPA ban on new machine gun manufacture. Crime committed with legally-owned machine guns was never a problem.
- wasn't it when the NFA was enacted? thompson-toting gangsters roving the land, robbing banks to-and-fro? b/c otherwise that would mean my understanding of that bit of history is only informed by slivers of surviving pop culture, and that certainly can't be the case
- Yeah that’s not personal experience 4th gen immigrants effectively are natives with their connection to the immigration system
- Breaking News: A federal grand jury indicted the Wisconsin judge who was accused of obstructing federal agents trying to arrest an undocumented immigrant.

- oh it very much is news; not anyone should have believed the Trump DOJ would walk away from this, but the fact of them obtaining an indictment confirms this story isn't going away anytime soon
- good, but even a single dissenting vote is nuts bsky.app/profile/chri...
- BREAKING: The Eleventh Circuit, on a 2-1 vote, holds that Florida’s anti-drag law is likely unconstitutional and upholds the injunction barring enforcement of the ban. media.ca11.uscourts.gov/opinions/pub...
- If I’m not mistaken, the “1” in the 2-1 margin is a 95 year old judge originally appointed to be a Circuit Judge by *Gerald Ford.*
- and before that appointed to be a District Judge by *Richard Nixon*
