- "Scathing reviews on Rate My Professors." Using generative AI in your practice risks generating this kind of response. Why would a student bother writing something their teacher or professor won't read? #EduSky
- Now it's the professors using ChatGPT. Students aren't happy about it. I talked to professors. I talked to students. I read the scathing reviews on Rate My Professors. Here you go: www.nytimes.com/2025/05/14/t...
- "After a second professor appeared to use ChatGPT to give her feedback, Marie transferred to another university." Generative AI is not a student-feedback tool. Good for Marie. #EduSky

- Asking a big oak tree has as much merit as asking ChatGPT. Or, as @emilymbender.bsky.social said, asking a Magic 8 Ball for all the connection to reality ChatGPT has. #EduSky

- Reposted by Tom MullaneyI went to a private Waldorf high school in the 2000s that was filled with the children of tech professionals - who explicitly wanted a lower-tech education for them. Many tech execs believe in careful exposure to tech for their kids, while also thinking AI teaching is fine for the great unwashed.

- This Josh Gottheimer ad using generative AI has 3.2 million views and just 22 likes. They had to turn comments off. Yet I'm seeing people argue with religious fervor that schools must teach kids how to use #genAI. Why? To draw the public's anger? #EduSky youtu.be/WnTLUYmYfRI?...
- Reposted by Tom MullaneyI have my beef with image generation, but ChatGPT is truly the most nightmarish creation in human history. If the majority of humanity accepts this as a source of truth: whoever controls the algorithm controls all information. Please teach your children to read, write, and think critically.
- The whole point of being a politician is to come off as authentic. Maybe don't use generative AI. If he won't hire artists to create ads as a candidate, how will he treat those harmed by generative AI as governor?
- It's probably worth considering whether we want students generating content and if we do, whose needs it serves. #EduSky #GenerativeAI #GenAI
