- The only purposes of lifting the ban on Joe Jackson and Pete Rose are to to tell players and the public that corruption and fixing games are acceptable and to show subservience to Donald Trump. It's grotesque and if I wasn't hopelessly addicted I'd never spend another dime in a ballpark.
