rom 1795 through 1956, US currency had the national motto, "E Pluribus Unum,” which means, “From Many, One.” In 1956, it was changed to, “In God We Trust,” for the Cold War to somehow magically defeat godless Communism. We need to lose some god and gain some pride again.
