  Getting close to the end of grading and the tell-tale signs of LLM use are still minimal. Note that I don't outright ban AI use in my class. I do strongly discourage it, however, by pulling up on the screen all the trial court orders that have sanctioned attorneys for its use. That seems to help.

    Grading 1L appellate briefs and happy to say the amount of plagiarism and obvious LLM use so far is minimal. The briefs are bad in all the ways first year legal writing tends to be bad, and that is a good thing!
