The town has been largely frozen for the last four years, only doing a few very safe things or which were already committed to; very few shows in active development. We're waiting it out same as everybody else.

Like would you be able to do a novel series about the ideas you had, or would that cause a whole set of legal issues?
Sorry for the dumb question but what's causing that freeze? I looked up the Sony CEO comments you mentioned (from Vinciquerra, right?) but they were mostly predicting more merger turmoil.
How long do you think this environment is going to last?
