I actually don’t have a good explanation for it honestly.
A majority of likely voters support impeachment, including 20% of Republicans.
The Democratic Party polls a helluva lot worse than that.
It seems quite curious to me - why are Democrats so staunchly against impeachment? Is it because of how corrupt the Trump regime is, even Democrats are now getting kickbacks and participating in the ongoing stock manipulation and insider trading? Could it be that simple?
May 14, 2025 02:17Corruption is definitely an incentive. They gain from insider trading as much as any of the president's cronies. Just look at Pelosi's stocks.
But I think it's also that they're under the belief that the more things he breaks, the more people will vote for Democrats. Which is definition EXTORTION.
To be fair, I can see the “it hasn’t worked twice. With the current congress, it’ll never happen” perspective.
Except … these are the people we elected to defend our integrity.
Try, fail, adapt, and try again. Giving up gives up everything.
Do it. Be indefatigable.
That’s why they were elected.
