- I finally found a government inefficiency. My jury summons does not have a time to appear on it. I had to call to find out that I will be told what time when I have to call them the Friday (after 5 pm) before the Monday I am to show up. I now have to keep the notice taped to my monitor!
- I am not surprised that Musk shook down middle eastern governments to sign up for starlink. This, as with everything else smells.

- I met someone today who actually “gets” how fast my brain works. To quote, “You can process so quickly that it is astonishing. Your brain calculates faster than a calculator. You see the question and the answers are immediate.” I added one thing: I’m BORED and need work.

- Someone stole my leaf blower off of my front porch. They went though my gate, across my yard and stole it. They did NOT steal my cornhole game OR my Amazon box of bulk cat litter. I want my blower back so my USPS lady won’t slip on magnolia leaves, dammit.
- Today, I watched 5 Canada Geese and over a gaggle of babies navigate across 6 lanes of traffic. They were so orderly in their progress that I felt tears of joy reach my eyes. Simple things in these times.
- I was asked if I knew AI today. How much do I need to know to “know AI”?
- An amazing thing happened to me today. I can’t say more.
- I was going to do some continuing education (in a field in which I am an expert) this week until row things happened: 1. They made WhatsApp usage mandatory (I don’t use it), and 2. The instructor does not speak English as a primary language. The communication issue is HUGE.
- I had a terrible thought while celebrating Cinco de Mayo today. Please G-d don’t let ICE do round ups at Mexican restaurants… this is something Else wouldn’t put past our heads evil “overlords”
- A bird flew into my house. Two cats decided to hunt it. I won. The bird is now free outside uneaten and undamaged for the most part. I can’t speak to its psychological wellbeing, however.
- I love foreign films and tv shows. They have PLOTS, beautiful SCENERY, and amazing COSTUMES. Get rid of reality tv, and I might remotely reconsider US tv
