- Graphic design does not need to be your passion to design a good cover. I just search for free stock images and crop out things that don't work w the story/character description. I download free/discount fonts when they're being offered. Once you get into it, it's not that bad!!

- Yeah, there's so many options! I bought the affinity suite when it was on sale but I've used Canva as well, which is free and has a lot of nice templates. It's really accessible now so there's really no need to use A👁️ lol

- One of my inspos for the MC's original situation was the acotar series, but it's shown from a negative light instead. I also wanted to write her as an "everyman" - she's just average at most things. The LI is in part inspired by Kel from Protector of the Small. #maywedance

- Rivals to lovers wip has... rivals to lovers (haha). also lust at first sight, royal/servant, unlikely allies. Noe's initial marriage has some of the classic romantasy tropes (possessive hero, "normal" heroine who's swept into new world, power imbalance, etc) but it's not sexy sadly lol #maywedance

- I suddenly remembered the site DollDivine, which I used to play around with a LOT in uni, and I was delighted to discover it still exists! And a lot of the games I played are still up! So of course I had to spend some time in the GOT maker. Here's Sybel and Noemi in my rivals to lovers WIP
- (They live underground, where it's very hot, but the world above is a snowy terrain so the background choice felt the most appropriate)
- I also had to make the queen Yolantha from The Hand That Feeds, in both the GOT and Tudor maker (same creator, so just slightly different flavours). Unfortunately, the options for men's hair was not great, so her boyfriends are offscreen.

- I really don't understand 😭 I'd only ever return a book if it was damaged or it was a gift and the recipient already owned it (even then, I'd prob just keep it lol). If I bought a book and didn't like it, I'd just deal with it and accept my poor judgement lol
