- The project is almost done, and this is my last four day "writing weekend". I bought some art to celebrate using the Oviedo Mall as a frequent writing spot over the last 5 years. (Today was my last trip out there. I typically use Altamonte Mall, closer to home.)
- Reposted by Ryan Grabowone thing i keep thinking about is how there is simply no way to design a constitutional system that can resist authoritarian incursion if participants in that system do not actually care that much
- Reposted by Ryan GrabowI love writing fiction because no matter how unrealistic it might be, I can make anything up, and make it make sense, like a functioning society

- Part 8 of This Falling Eden (“May I Never Speak Again”) is complete, and the first two chapters of Part 9 (“And They Have One King”) cleared their checks today as well. Only 7 chapters of the trilogy’s 114 remain. 🙌
- Part Two of This Falling Tower, “May I Never Speak Again” is compete (except for a little finishing work I’ll do in two weeks). Only one part, with nine chapters, remains in the entire book trilogy. 😋

- 5/3 😤 …where the Time of Forgetting began. And where it may begin again.
- 4/3 😫 …until the powers of writing and speech became the power to create and destroy, to dominate one another, and to fashion themselves into gods. Now, as Rai Ver While falls under siege, Sarsa and her allies execute a bold plan to travel across the conquered Earth, to the City of Falling Water…
- 3/3 The ability to write is the ability to control the ancestors' technology. This Falling Eden is a futuristic twist on the Tower of Babel story, set in an Edenic world where it's said Noah talked God out of flooding the Earth. The force of mankind's one language increased with each generation…
- 2/3 Two brothers, Nitcef and Venitcen, capture a writing pad from the enemy and flee with their village to Rai Ver While, a city under the protection of Zanine, their tribe’s only Sky Person. Only Sarsa, Zanine’s granddaughter, knows what the writing pad represents.
- Revised the first paragraph of my back cover text. I wanted to get rid of the dashes. Thoughts? 1/3 Hundreds of years after a global catastrophe known as “The Time of Forgetting” halted mankind's technological progress, a new army has risen to conquer the scattered peoples of the Earth.
