- A few years ago I actually asked my knee surgeon if they could knock out the colonoscopy at the same time. he thought i was joking.

- Google held another creator summit, this time in D.C. with 7 creators and Danny Sullivan, Paul Haahr and HJ Kim I believe - here is what one creator got from it - a must read www.seroundtable.com/google-held-... hat tip @glenngabe.bsky.social #google #googleseo #content #creators #seo
- lol! A better title/desc: "Google knows AdWords doesn't really work in most cases, so they host a Social Media Influencer Brunch". or "Google could only get 7 people to attend it's recent influencer Summit." ... but they got blog posts out of it".

- Congratulations. As to why views aren't matching your expectations, IMO, is because that's how algos (businesses) work. They want users to pay for broader reach. I noticed this behavior on other platforms too. Those who have subscriptions or promote their work have far better reach.
- 🧐More local comes to AI Mode, the first block is "Top-Rated Lawyers/Firms (based on user reviews and ratings)", NO normal 3 pack, just 4 and "see more". No change in AIOs...yet #localseo #AIMode #AILocal @rustybrick.com
- Like @elonsmicropeen.bsky.social, @rustybrick.com has a sage’s level knowledge about search engines compared to us mere mortals. This stuff is incredibly fascinating. Please follow, dive in, and indulge your inner nerd. 🤓

View full threadNo, no sarcasm at all. I’m very serious about how valuable your knowledge and skills are. I embrace how nerdy I am and assume most people on social media enjoy that they are somewhat nerdy as well. These days, nerdy is very cool. Apologies if it came off as a slight. Fully intended as a complement
- Like, I spend inordinate amounts of time posting bird videos. It does not get much nerdier than that, but I love it.
- WTF? This story showed up in my news feed as 5 minutes old. It is from back in October 2024. Are search engines algorithms trying to gin up support for Tesla stock? www.aol.com/finance/elon...

- Thanks @rustybrick.com! I assumed that wouldn’t still be an issue for them in 2025. I always figured it was due to publisher SEO tactics (should be a penalty) when I see examples like this. @hawktales.bsky.social there’s your answer. It’s just Google’s algorithm being not as smart as I thought.
