- I'm curious -- if you've got some meaningful number of followers, how did you get them? Was it consistent growth or did you put out some crazy banger? New work or job association? Mine:
- I'm ~6k on twitter and ~3k here. I wasn't on twitter until March 2020, when I was a second-year finance PhD student. I'd describe my followers as econ, stats, scientific computing, and now lots of AI folks.
- I had around 10,000 followers on twitter during the NAFO peak. So it was a core group of people all following each other and shit posting. But then my account got banned.

- I think this is what’s so jarring about the Democratic Party doing everything they can to expel David Hogg. By all accounts his politics seems to be extremely normal, mainstream liberal stuff. He bucked the party by advocating the radical idea that elected leaders should perhaps be under 80.
