- This one has a common area with a gorgeous view of the river, beach access including a boat ramp, and idk exactly what else we have access to, but the office is right next to 3 big pools. Last time I was there I took what's now my header pic of a duck chilling by one of them.
- Answering questions is one of the few parts of my job I like. I get zero compensation for them, I could tell you to ask your doctor, but *I* want to know the answer if I don't already. NB: this applies to questions like "does Prozac interact with Benadryl?" Not "am I having a heart attack?"
- My favorite questions were the ones I answered with “that’s a new one for me! Let me check some resources…”
- When I don't know something and offer to look it up, I usually get "oh, it's not that important, I don't want to take up your time..." And I have to explain that no, now *I* want to know the answer.

- My take: the demarcation between chemist and alchemist is a historical phenomenon that can only exist in hindsight Pseudoscience is often only marked as pseudo later, and sometimes continues to be contested, like race science which is definitely BS and definitely thrives among scientists
