- Considering how often we've had the fastest GDP growth in the G7, we should all have been swimming in pools full of champagne for many years now
- I'll now be running ads in Albania. I am certain I can dent public opinion against hosting asylum seekers the UK doesn't want.
- This is for "failed" asylum seekers so the public will be less disgusted by this, but what defines "failed"? Many asylum seekers appeal and succeed. Beyond the human aspect, it makes no sense to PAY to send away a person who we have also actively prevented from participating in our economy.
- Keir Starmer is a worse Prime Minister than Rishi Sunak. At least when Sunak did evil things, he did it out of his misguided but conscientious beliefs. Starmer just hums whatever right wing political tune his pied pipers play him.
- Amazing how some people think pricing care out of reach for working-class families is socialism. It's not 'wage inflation' when it kills services. It's called wrecking the safety net.
- We need some Labour MPs to cross the aisle over to the LibDems or Greens
- In 2021 after Brexit, we had a severe shortage of lorry drivers. The government released 5000 visas for Europeans but no one wanted to come. We then set £34m to train Brits as lorry drivers. Companies started offering jobs for £75K and even more. Only half of those 11,000 spots were ever taken.
- Let's take a village with 90 white British people, many seniors, and a few young people with kids already. 5 migrant couples arrive and soon have kids. You can take this as evidence of "white replacement" or just common sense that these are young people who will procreate when they settle down.
- Tired of hearing 'we need immigrants to staff the NHS & care homes' - as if we're a servant class. Newsflash: immigrants do a variety of work, pay taxes, buy homes, raise families. Britain doesn't 'need us to serve'. We're here to live. Like you.
