- Like many of you I'm determined to be less confrontational here on Bluesky than I was on Twitter, but I struggle to sit on my hands when people equate naughty rule-breaking riders (who almost but didn't hit them) to the carnage and negligence caused by drivers. It's just both-sides bullshit.
- If in fact the armed people abducting people with no criminal records are not actual ICE employees, explain to me how these aren't felonies that need to be pursued immediately?
- Reposted by Peter Flax*Open bribery *Masked armed officials arresting residents without warrants, citizens who try to intervene *Arrests for engaging in non-violent speech *Destruction of government capacities *Massive economic uncertainty and damage *Unprecedented targeting of government power against political enemies
- IMO the right amount of times to reply crashes in pro bike races is zero times.
- Riding on an upright city bike in street clothes is totally awesome. There is zero reason to take shots at sportier bikes or people who ride them to celebrate transit riding. Often it's the same people doing both. Often it's different people with common needs. Everyone who rides are allies.
- I still hate driverless cars but at this point it's obvious that the Waymo algorithm is already more empathic than most humans in LA can drive a car.
