- So Israel is kind of neutered, not because it lacks power or weapons, but because it lacks relevance to Trump's personal incentives. And for foreign affairs, the US Government precisely equalts 'Trump as indivudal' (vainglorious, corrupt) for the next 3.5 years
- To Trump, everything is personal: but Israel has nothing to offer him personally. It potentially offered hero status for 'solving' Israel/Palestine, even Trump must now see it as an albatross. And besides, Trump is only interested in instant, zero effort game-show like 'successes'.
- But while Israel currently wields almost no deterministic leverage; the Gulf offers Trump cash, flattery and pageantry - everything he cares about in a one-stop shop
- It's easy see Trump becoming great "friends" with the Gulf leaders; who have the capacity to further massively enrich him. And after all theyy are the kind of people he likes to hang out with anyway.
