- incidentally this is why I didn't get a masters in cybersecurity; I got accepted into a program but the stipend wasn't even enough for rent so I took the fully-funded PhD instead, and when I dropped out of that, had to do devops/SRE work to pay the bills on paper I've never worked in security!
